EWF or Engineered Wood Fiber is a loose fill wood mulch safety surfacing designed specifically for playgrounds. It is the most common type of playground safety surfacing and by far the most economical choice for most play areas.

Rubber mulch is a loose fill safety surfacing option. Often made from recycled ground up tires, it is an excellent choice for those looking to be "greener." Rubber mulch goes a long way, a 4" depth covers up to a 10' critical fall height.
